Effective October 16, 2026 · MediKeep by AnthoDevs

In short: MediKeep has no account and no server. Your medicines, photos and dose history stay on your iPhone. The app does not use ads, analytics or tracking. The only thing it sends over the internet is a short search to public drug databases, so it can match a medicine.

Who we are

MediKeep is an iPhone app made by AnthoDevs (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app does with your information. Questions: hello@anthodevs.com.

What stays on your device

Everything you add: medications, photos, plans, reminders, cabinet items (quantity, expiry date, location, category) and your dose history. It is stored only in the app on your iPhone. We do not receive it, we cannot see it, and there is no MediKeep server or account. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Camera and photos

When you scan a label, the photo is read on your iPhone. If you keep the photo with a medication, it is saved only inside the app on your device. It is never uploaded by MediKeep.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. They need your permission, and you can change it any time in iOS Settings. The app still works without them.

On-device AI and text recognition

Reading a label uses Apple’s Vision text recognition and, on iPhones that support it, Apple’s on-device model (Apple Intelligence). With iOS 27 the model can also look at the photo. All of this runs on your iPhone: the photo and the text are not sent to us or to any server. If the on-device model is not available, the app uses standard text parsing instead.

What leaves your device

To suggest a match and show drug information, the app sends short search terms to three public reference services:

ServiceOperatorWhat is sent
RxNormU.S. National Library of MedicineMedicine name, strength, form, or a drug ID
openFDAU.S. Food and Drug AdministrationMedicine name or drug ID, to read its public label
MedlinePlusU.S. National Library of MedicineActive ingredient or drug ID

We never send your photo, your plans, your reminders, your dose history, your cabinet or anything that identifies you. Like any internet request, these services can see your IP address; MediKeep adds no identifier of its own. Their own privacy policies apply to what they receive.

Purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your payment details or Apple Account. Apple handles billing, receipts, renewals and cancellations; you can manage a subscription in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.

Ads, analytics and tracking

MediKeep contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

Backups

If you back up your iPhone with iCloud or a computer, Apple may include the app’s data in that backup. That backup is controlled by you and your Apple Account, not by us.

Children

MediKeep is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, since it does not collect any.

Medical disclaimer

MediKeep is a reminder and organization tool. It does not give medical advice, diagnosis or dosing. Information shown comes from the sources named in the app and may be incomplete; recognition from a photo can be wrong. Always follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions and check the label on your package.

Your choices and rights

Because we do not hold your data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. You can edit or delete any item inside the app, and delete everything by removing the app. If you have questions about your rights, write to hello@anthodevs.com.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, we will update this page and its date, and describe the change in the app’s release notes.
